I have used this for years. My girlfriend has a Pur filter, and I drink both every day (we live very close and our tap water is virtually the same). Brita is slightly less expensive, but the Pur, even with their least expensive filter option, tastes quite bit better, and I find that there is invariably a bit of carbon taste in the Brita water (yes I use it properly).
