I purchased these filters in addition to my Brita Space Saver model pitcher. I haven't had any complications using them and have received excellent tasting water compared to the nasty tap water in my old apartment. I would recomment these filters for anyone interested in buying a Brita Pitcher, as they're signicantly cheaper on Amazon.com versus purchasing them retail or from a local store. Each filter will last up to 2 months, however I'm almost positive you can stretch the life on these bad boys if you don't filter as much water.
