Of course if Amazon goes up on the price or takes away the free shipping it wouldn't be worth buying them here, just get them in your local store. I was a little worried that if I paid less for the filters that they would some how be faulty or defective but that wasn't the case. I've used one of the three and it works just as well as the others I have purchased in Walmart or Target. Change it at least every two months or more if you go through pitchers of water. My Brita pitcher has an indicator on it that helps me know when to change it but after awhile you can taste the difference and know that it's time to change filters.
