I have been using the Brita filters for about 3 years now and have always found them working as expected. The flushing away process of the carbon particles is an exception to this.THis is the 1st time I bought the filters online. No complaints with shiping or packaging. But I noticed that removing the carbon particles (not completely though .. I don;t think anyone has been able to do that so far) before starting to use the filter took a little more time with this buy than I had to do with the store-purchased piece.
