Since this was the only item in my order, Amazon shipped it in one of those padded envelopes. When I got it, there was a 1-1/2" tear on the center of the envelope and the box was deformed.
The filters themselves are okay. The black carbon bits still leak out sometimes but not enough to be bothersome. I don't know how this compares to PUR, but works well with me and I trust this brand.Get more detail about Brita 35503 Pitcher Replacement Water Filter Cartridges, 3-Pack.
